Bernal: Al mercado hispano le está yendo súper bien
The Hispanic agency was acknowledged with four shortlists in the Outdoor, Film, Entertainment and Direct categories for its Doppelgänger Tourists campaign for the Mexican Tourism Board. PRODU talked to Maria Bernal, Creative Director at LAPIZ about their participation at Cannes Lions. “Were doing many team work things, many new things at LAPIZ to enhance our work pace. Its very operational, but at the same time we want to be more inspired. They asked me, for instance, to attend the festival to report live from Cannes about things I liked and inspired me, and we did it using a tourque called Slack.” She explained that taking part in the festival enriches the creative mind, “it opens a lot your vision, you see pieces that you never imagined that could be done. The use of media is also going to other many places. I had to learn a lot about this and I believe that also watching so much work is super inspiring, with everything I saw.” The Hispanic market is doing super well -she said-. “There are many agencies with shortlists or things theyve won. I believe were super well. Unfortunately, we havent been doing so well as other agencies, but anyway we are part of this moment of the Hispanic agencies and I hope it continue to do so” she concluded.
